JR Jones Racing builds remote tune files for GM LS and LT powered vehicles, including common Silverado, Sierra, Tahoe, Yukon, Suburban, Escalade, Camaro, Corvette, CTS-V, G8, Holden, TrailBlazer SS, and LS swap combinations. Supported engine families include 4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L, 6.2L, LS1, LS2, LS3, L99, LQ4, LQ9, L83, L86, LT1, LT4, and related GM truck and car platforms.
GM truck tune file support includes 1997-2006 Gen III, 2007-2013 Gen IV, and 2014-2018 Gen V Silverado and Sierra workflows, with calibration support for stock setups, bolt-ons, long tube headers, cold air intakes, intake manifolds, tire size changes, gear ratio changes, cam swaps, converter changes, and transmission-related drivability needs where supported.
DOD / AFM delete tune support is available for supported GM vehicles after the proper mechanical delete work has been completed. The calibration disables cylinder deactivation logic and is matched to the vehicle, engine, controller, camshaft, delete hardware, and supporting modifications provided with the order.
Cam swap tune support covers common GM LS and LT truck combinations, including Texas Speed Chopacabra, BTR Truck Norris, Sloppy Mechanics Stage 2 and Stage 3, Texas Speed 224/224, Texas Speed 228/228, and other customer-provided camshaft specs. JR Jones Racing uses the submitted stock read file, vehicle information, and build list to prepare a remote tune file for the exact combination.
HEMI remote tune support includes compatible RAM, Charger, Challenger, Chrysler 300, Durango, Jeep Grand Cherokee, and related 5.7L and 6.4L HEMI platforms where HP Tuners support applies. HEMI tuning can cover stock, bolt-on, cammed, and MDS delete workflows when the vehicle, controller, and read file are supported.
MDS delete tune support is built for HEMI vehicles after the mechanical MDS delete has been completed. The tune disables Multi-Displacement System logic and can be paired with cam swap information, headers, intake changes, tire and gear information, and other build details when those options are part of the order.
LS swap tune files are available for many 4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L, and 6.2L swaps using supported GM controllers. LS swap calibration work can include VATS delete, startup support, fan control, speedometer calibration, tire size calibration, gear ratio calibration, engine and transmission setup details, and drivability support based on the parts and controller being used.
Customers ordering an LS swap tune should provide the stock read file, engine details, transmission details, injector information, mass airflow or speed density setup notes, tire size, gear ratio, fuel type, fan setup, vehicle chassis information, and any camshaft or power-adder details needed for the calibration.
JR Jones Racing supports HP Tuners tune file workflows for many GM LS, LT, and HEMI applications using compatible MPVI interfaces and VCM Suite software. EFI Live tune file support is available for supported GM applications when the customer has a compatible EFI Live V2 or AutoCal workflow and the vehicle/controller combination is supported.
The remote process is built around customer-supplied read files and build information. Customers purchase the tune file, read the vehicle controller with HP Tuners or EFI Live where applicable, submit the stock read file and build details, flash the returned calibration, and provide logs or feedback for included revision support when needed.
