How Your Tune File Order Works

  1. Purchase your tune file.
  2. After checkout, you’ll receive an email with your secure JRJ Tune Portal upload link.
  3. Open the portal and upload your stock read file, vehicle details, and any logs if available.
  4. Your order will be reviewed and built through the portal.
  5. When your tune file is finished, you’ll receive an email alert with download instructions.

About This Product

Custom tuning requires a mechanically sound vehicle and the correct flashing device. Full tuning terms, responsibility agreement, and upload instructions are completed securely inside the JR Jones Racing Tune Portal after purchase.

Whether you're running a stock truck, a performance cam, or want optional Crackle Tune, each file improves drivability, throttle response, and power delivery.

Base Tune — Stock Truck

Ideal for a completely stock LV3 or lightly modified setup — cold air intake, headers, exhaust. Cleans up GM's lazy factory calibration, sharpens throttle response, smooths shifting, and improves overall drivability.

Cam Tune

Built for LV3 engines running a DOD/AFM delete and an aftermarket cam. Corrects airflow, fueling, idle control, and stalling issues while keeping an aggressive, controlled cam chop. Works with a wide range of popular cam options — see below.

  • Include your order number and full mod list — cam, headers, intake, injectors, converter, etc.
  • Typical turnaround: minutes — up to 24 hours depending on workload
  • Up to 3 revisions included if your setup needs follow-up adjustments

⚠️ Flashing & Safety Notice

Flashing your PCM can be dangerous if not done properly. Follow these steps to avoid bricking your PCM:

  • Never flash over Bluetooth or Wi-Fi — always use a hard-wired USB connection
  • Connect a battery charger to maintain stable voltage during the write process
  • Do not interrupt the process once writing has begun
