What The Tools Do

Choose The Right Workflow

HP Tuners

HP Tuners uses MPVI interfaces with VCM Suite to read, save, flash, and log supported vehicles. JRJ customers commonly use HP Tuners for GM LS, Gen V LT, EcoTec3, LV3, HEMI, cam swaps, DOD/AFM delete tuning, MDS delete tuning, transmission changes, and remote revisions.

  • Read and save the stock ECM, PCM, and TCM file when supported.
  • Use VCM Scanner to record idle, cruise, wide open throttle, and drivability logs when requested.
  • Flash JRJ tune revisions through VCM Editor with stable battery voltage.

EFI Live

EFI Live is a separate tuning ecosystem used by many diesel and gas performance customers. If your vehicle and file format are supported for the job, JRJ can use your EFI Live stock read and logs as part of a remote tuning workflow.

  • Use the official EFI Live software for your device and vehicle support level.
  • Save your factory read file before any tune changes.
  • Upload your file, vehicle details, and scanner logs through the JRJ portal.

From Stock File To Revision

Read The Vehicle

Connect your HP Tuners or EFI Live device, open the official software, and read the vehicle before flashing anything. Save the stock file clearly with your name, vehicle, and date.

Use Your Private Upload Link

After checkout, JR Jones Racing automatically creates your Tune Portal order and emails your private upload link. Use it to submit your stock read file, vehicle details, build notes, and any scanner logs you have available.

Send Scanner Logs

If logs are needed, JRJ may request VCM Scanner or EFI Live data logs for idle, cruise, throttle response, fuel trims, shift behavior, or wide open throttle review.

Receive The Tune

Your tune file is built around the vehicle information you provide. You will receive instructions for flashing, revision notes, and next steps through the JRJ workflow.

Flash And Review

Flash with a healthy battery, wired USB connection, laptop power, and no sleep mode. Test the vehicle, then send logs or feedback if a revision is needed.

Revision Support

Revisions are used to refine idle quality, fueling, part throttle, shift behavior, and drivability based on your build, file, and data logs.
