JR Jones Racing offers three distinct calibration paths. The right choice depends on whether the vehicle needs Jason to build from its stock read, how much revision support is included, and whether an exact compatible Compare and Copy reference already exists. The catalog groups products by delivery type so a downloadable file is never presented as if it includes custom remote revisions.

Custom and Base Tune delivery
After checkout, the private Tune Portal keeps the order, stock read, vehicle details, delivered files, feedback, datalogs and revisions together. Use an HP Tuners MPVI2, MPVI3 or MPVI4, or a specifically supported EFI Live device. RTD and TDN devices are not currently supported.
Instant file delivery
Digital-download products are delivered through Shopify’s order experience after payment. They require exact compatibility and a customer who understands HP Tuners Compare and Copy. Do not flash an unknown complete file into another controller simply because the engine and cam names look similar.
Catalog policy:Public grids exclude internal Tune Add-On SKUs, MPVI4 devices and Tune File Bundles. Builder add-ons continue to work as linked checkout items.

Downloadable .HPT files are limited to the selected supported camshaft calibration or supported DOD/AFM/MDS/VVT delete calibration. They do not include tuning changes for blowers, headers, intakes, injectors, fuel systems, heads, converters, transmissions, tire size, gear ratio, or other add-ons.
Supporting every possible vehicle, cam, and modification combination would require more than 14,000 separate files. If your vehicle has additional modifications, choose a Base Tune or Full Custom Remote Tune.

What is the difference between a Custom Remote Tune and a downloadable .HPT file?
A Custom Remote Tune is built from your vehicle’s stock read and includes the product’s datalog and revision workflow. A downloadable .HPT file is a prewritten exact-match Compare and Copy reference with no custom remote revisions.
What does the Base Tune include?
The $149.99 Base Tune is intended for startup, idle and initial drivability and includes one revision. It is not presented as the same refinement level as the full Custom Remote Tune.
Do I need a tuning device?
Yes. Use HP Tuners MPVI2, MPVI3 or MPVI4, or a specifically supported EFI Live device, plus required vehicle licensing. RTD and TDN devices are not currently supported.
Are HP Tuners credits included?
Credits are separate unless the selected product explicitly says they are included. Confirm the vehicle’s credit requirement before attempting a flash.
Can I add an MPVI4 to the same tune order?
Yes. The MPVI4 option appears at the bottom of the tune builder and is added as a separate cart item. Vehicle credits remain separate.
Can I upgrade an instant file into a custom tune automatically?
No automatic conversion is promised. Purchase the Custom Remote Tune path when the build needs Jason to review the stock read, datalogs, feedback and revisions.
How are instant files delivered?

Why are some products not shown in the grids?
Internal Tune Add-On SKUs, MPVI devices and Tune File Bundles are intentionally excluded as standalone catalog cards. Approved builder add-ons remain available through the builder.
