This remote tuning service is built for 2014-2018 GM truck and SUV platforms running the 4.3L LV3, 5.3L L83, or 6.2L L86 engine family with a BTR Truck Norris camshaft or similar Gen V truck cam setup.
This is made for customers who want the chop, but still want the truck to start clean, idle right, drive smooth, and behave like something they can actually enjoy. Upload your factory read file and full mod list through your private Tune Portal, and we build the tune around your exact setup.
This is a remote tuning service. Your tune is built from your own stock read and matched to your factory read file, operating system, engine size, transmission, cam setup, converter, gear ratio, tire size, and full modification list. Full Custom Remote Tune includes datalog review and up to five revisions for the purchased setup. Files, feedback, and messages stay together in your private Tune Portal.
Built for Gen V GM Truck Norris Cam Setups
Tuning for a supported Truck Norris build involves airflow, idle, fueling, spark, torque management, and transmission behavior as applicable. The goal is to improve startup, idle, and drivability within the purchased service. Results depend on the actual parts combination, mechanical condition, installation, and information supplied; tuning cannot guarantee the absence of surging, stalling, or other driving problems.

Revision Support & Turnaround
Full Custom Remote Tune includes datalog review and up to five revisions for the purchased, supported build.
Dedicated support within the purchased service. JRJ works carefully and in good faith to address tuning concerns. Remote tuning requires accurate build information, requested datalogs, feedback, and customer cooperation. It does not include unlimited revisions, unlimited troubleshooting, mechanical repair, or guaranteed results. These limits do not excuse a verified error in JRJ’s work. Any additional paid work must be agreed before it begins.
Revision 1: Normal turnaround is 24–72 business hours after J.R. Jones Racing LLC receives your vehicle’s stock read file, with delivery guaranteed no later than 72 business hours after receipt. Revision 1 is the initial tune delivered through the private Tune Portal. Business hours are Monday–Friday, excluding holidays; weekends do not count toward normal turnaround.
Paid Faster Turnaround: for eligible Full Custom orders, Revision 1 is guaranteed by the end of the same business day when the stock read is received during normal business hours. Friday is included, and Friday delivery may be as late as midnight Eastern depending on workload. Reads received outside normal business hours, on weekends, or on holidays begin processing the next business day. This earlier deadline applies to Revision 1 only.
Later revisions have no fixed or guaranteed turnaround time. They depend on usable datalogs, clear feedback, mechanical or installation checks, changes to the build, and the individual tuning work needed. Uploading a datalog does not start a guaranteed revision deadline.
Receiving a datalog does not start a guaranteed deadline for a later revision. The Revision 1 delivery commitment does not guarantee completion of the entire tuning process.
Remote-Tuning Service Policy
Before tuning work begins: you may cancel for a full service refund. Uploading a stock read does not, by itself, mean that manual work has begun. Work begins when JRJ starts the individual manual review of the stock read to create the tune, or starts preparing or modifying the tune.
After work begins and before Revision 1 delivery: an approved Full Custom cancellation is subject to a $169.99 retained tuning fee. Any approved refund is limited to the amount actually paid for the tuning-service portion of the order, after discounts, above $169.99. The retained fee is not an additional charge and cannot exceed the service payment. The full policy explains how service add-ons are treated.
After Revision 1 is delivered through the Tune Portal, ordinary cancellations and issues not attributable to JRJ are non-refundable, whether or not the file has been downloaded, flashed, or used.
Mechanical, installation, and other problems not caused by JRJ do not justify refunding work already performed or files already delivered. A full-refund claim based on a tuning error requires verified evidence, not an assumption. Correctable JRJ errors are addressed through correction; a verified JRJ error or failure that prevents provision of the purchased service and cannot be corrected qualifies for a full affected-service refund without the $169.99 fee. Applicable legal rights remain in effect.

Performance & Build Responsibility Notice
This is a performance calibration designed for modified Gen V GM trucks and SUVs running a camshaft and supporting parts.
You are responsible for making sure your build quality is up to par before flashing or running this tune. Your engine, valvetrain, fuel system, drivetrain, wiring, sensors, injectors, exhaust, and all supporting parts must be correctly installed, mechanically sound, and capable of handling increased performance.
Poor installation, worn parts, incorrect valve spring setup, wrong pushrod length, weak fuel supply, vacuum leaks, exhaust leaks, bad sensors, or unsafe mechanical condition can cause drivability issues or engine damage that no tune can fix.
You are purchasing the tuning work and support described in your selected service. Results vary with the vehicle’s condition, parts combination, installation quality, fuel, sensors and the accuracy of the information provided. No specific horsepower gain, idle character, fuel economy, drivability result or number of adjustments needed to reach your goals is guaranteed. Because we cannot physically inspect or test your vehicle, we cannot promise mechanical reliability, component life or that the vehicle is free of existing faults.
A revision request does not, by itself, mean that the service was performed incorrectly. Refinement is a normal part of remote tuning. These terms do not excuse an error or failure to provide the purchased service that is attributable to J.R. Jones Racing LLC.
Secure Flashing Reminder
Always flash using a hard-wired USB connection. Do not flash over weak connections, unstable power, or while the vehicle battery is low.
Use a battery charger or maintainer during the write process. Do not interrupt the flash once writing has started.
Customer is responsible for having the proper tuning hardware, software, licensing, and stable equipment needed to read and flash the vehicle.
