How Your Tune File Order Works

  1. Purchase your tune file.
  2. After checkout, you’ll receive an email with your secure JRJ Tune Portal upload link.
  3. Open the portal and upload your stock read file, vehicle details, and any logs if available.
  4. Your order will be reviewed and built through the portal.
  5. When your tune file is finished, you’ll receive an email alert with download instructions.

This tune file is built for 2014-2018 GM truck and SUV platforms running the 4.3L LV3, 5.3L L83, or 6.2L L86 engine family with a BTR Truck Norris camshaft or similar Gen V truck cam setup.

This is made for customers who want the chop, but still want the truck to start clean, idle right, drive smooth, and behave like something they can actually enjoy. Send your factory read file and full mod list, and we build the calibration around your exact setup.

This is not a random pulled file. Your tune is built around your factory read file, operating system, engine size, transmission, cam setup, converter, gear ratio, tire size, and full modification list. We tune, test, log, revise, and communicate until the file is working the way it should for your supported setup.

Performance & Build Responsibility Notice

This is a performance calibration designed for modified Gen V GM trucks and SUVs running a camshaft and supporting parts.

You are responsible for making sure your build quality is up to par before flashing or running this tune. Your engine, valvetrain, fuel system, drivetrain, wiring, sensors, injectors, exhaust, and all supporting parts must be correctly installed, mechanically sound, and capable of handling increased performance.

Poor installation, worn parts, incorrect valve spring setup, wrong pushrod length, weak fuel supply, vacuum leaks, exhaust leaks, bad sensors, or unsafe mechanical condition can cause drivability issues or engine damage that no tune can fix.

J.R. Jones Automotive & Performance is not liable for engine failure, drivetrain damage, PCM/ECU damage, or any issue caused by poor build quality, improper installation, unsafe flashing practices, incorrect customer-supplied information, or misuse of this tune.

Secure Flashing Reminder

Always flash using a hard-wired USB connection. Do not flash over weak connections, unstable power, or while the vehicle battery is low.

Use a battery charger or maintainer during the write process. Do not interrupt the flash once writing has started.

Customer is responsible for having the proper tuning hardware, software, licensing, and stable equipment needed to read and flash the vehicle.
