Modification pricing stays visible. Supported cam and modification options selected in the Tune Builder may appear as separate paid add-ons in the cart. An unselected or undisclosed modification is not automatically included with this service.
What We Need From You
- Your vehicle’s original HP Tuners stock read file
- Your order number, year, make, model, engine and transmission
- The exact camshaft name and cam card or specifications, when available
- Your full modification list, including injectors, headers, intake, converter, gear and tire changes
- Details of installed DOD/AFM delete parts and other relevant changes
- Any current startup, idle, stalling, surging or drivability concerns
How Your Remote Tune Works
- 1. Upload your stock read. After purchase, use your private Tune Portal to submit the original read and your build details.
- 2. Receive Revision 1. Normal turnaround is 24–72 business hours after J.R. Jones Racing LLC receives your vehicle’s stock read file, with delivery guaranteed no later than 72 business hours after receipt. Revision 1 is the initial tune delivered through the private Tune Portal. Business hours are Monday–Friday, excluding holidays; weekends do not count toward normal turnaround.
- 3. Flash and send feedback. Follow the supplied instructions, then upload the requested datalog and describe how the vehicle behaves.
- 4. Work through revisions. Full Custom includes up to five revisions for the purchased, supported build. Later revisions have no fixed or guaranteed turnaround time. They depend on usable datalogs, clear feedback, mechanical or installation checks, changes to the build, and the individual tuning work needed. Uploading a datalog does not start a guaranteed revision deadline.
Paid Faster Turnaround: for eligible Full Custom orders, Revision 1 is guaranteed by the end of the same business day when the stock read is received during normal business hours. Friday is included, and Friday delivery may be as late as midnight Eastern depending on workload. Reads received outside normal business hours, on weekends, or on holidays begin processing the next business day. This earlier deadline applies to Revision 1 only.
Receiving a datalog does not start a guaranteed deadline for a later revision. The Revision 1 delivery commitment does not guarantee completion of the entire tuning process.
Before You Order
- HP Tuners MPVI2, MPVI3 or MPVI4 hardware is required for this listed workflow
- Tuning hardware and vehicle credits are separate from the service
- Confirm your exact engine, camshaft and controller support before ordering
- Include every applicable modification when configuring your tune
- Your vehicle and installed supporting parts must be mechanically sound
Support & Results
Dedicated support within the purchased service. JRJ works carefully and in good faith to address tuning concerns. Remote tuning requires accurate build information, requested datalogs, feedback, and customer cooperation. It does not include unlimited revisions, unlimited troubleshooting, mechanical repair, or guaranteed results. These limits do not excuse a verified error in JRJ’s work. Any additional paid work must be agreed before it begins.
You are purchasing the tuning work and support described in your selected service. Results vary with the vehicle’s condition, parts combination, installation quality, fuel, sensors and the accuracy of the information provided. No specific horsepower gain, idle character, fuel economy, drivability result or number of adjustments needed to reach your goals is guaranteed. Because we cannot physically inspect or test your vehicle, we cannot promise mechanical reliability, component life or that the vehicle is free of existing faults.
Remote-Tuning Service Policy
Before tuning work begins: you may cancel for a full service refund. Uploading a stock read does not, by itself, mean that manual work has begun. Work begins when JRJ starts the individual manual review of the stock read to create the tune, or starts preparing or modifying the tune.
After work begins and before Revision 1 delivery: an approved Full Custom cancellation is subject to a $169.99 retained tuning fee. Any approved refund is limited to the amount actually paid for the tuning-service portion of the order, after discounts, above $169.99. The retained fee is not an additional charge and cannot exceed the service payment. The full policy explains how service add-ons are treated.
After Revision 1 is delivered through the Tune Portal, ordinary cancellations and issues not attributable to JRJ are non-refundable, whether or not the file has been downloaded, flashed, or used.
Mechanical, installation, and other problems not caused by JRJ do not justify refunding work already performed or files already delivered. A full-refund claim based on a tuning error requires verified evidence, not an assumption. Correctable JRJ errors are addressed through correction; a verified JRJ error or failure that prevents provision of the purchased service and cannot be corrected qualifies for a full affected-service refund without the $169.99 fee. Applicable legal rights remain in effect.

Flashing & Safety Notice
Flashing your PCM can be dangerous if not done properly. Follow these steps to help avoid PCM or ECU damage:
- Never flash over Bluetooth or Wi-Fi — always use a hard-wired connection
- Connect a battery charger to maintain stable voltage during the write process
- Do not interrupt the flashing process once writing has started
Customer equipment, stable power and correct flashing practices are necessary for this remote workflow. These responsibilities do not excuse a verified error in J.R.
