Download and Extract
Receive the digital download, download the TuneDex ZIP, and extract it.
Run Setup.exe
Approve the Windows UAC prompt if shown, watch the branded installation progress, and finish installation.
Launch and Search
Open JRJ Tune Library Search, activate the software, then search and review files.
Activation Flow
- Launch TuneDex and copy or note the displayed Machine ID.
- Visit license.jrjonesracing.com.
- Enter the Shopify order number and checkout email.
- Confirm or enter the Machine ID. The activation page says this field is pre-filled automatically when opened from the app.
- Generate the license key, paste it into TuneDex, and complete activation.
Machine ID and Transfers
Machine-based licensing without mystery.
Machine ID
The Machine ID identifies the Windows computer for licensing. It is not the vehicle VIN, not a Shopify password, and not a remote-access code. Customers should copy it exactly. Hardware changes or a Windows reinstall may produce a different Machine ID.
License Transfers
The current public product and activation pages do not publish an automatic self-service transfer workflow, response time, or unlimited-transfer policy. If a computer is replaced, a drive fails, Windows is reinstalled, or hardware changes create a new Machine ID, contact support with the order number, checkout email, old Machine ID if available, new Machine ID, and reason for transfer.
Safe Use
Reference files must be reviewed before use.
These are reference and comparison calibration files. Customers must review files in HP Tuners VCM Editor, compare against the vehicle's original read, and verify controller, operating system, engine, transmission, fuel system, injector data, modifications, and vehicle options before using calibration data. Files should never be blindly flashed. A matching filename does not guarantee compatibility. Improper calibration or flashing can cause poor operation or damage.
