Return & Refund Policy

Custom Remote Tune Files & Tuning Services

Remote tuning is a service, not a physical product, and is built specifically around the vehicle information, stock read file, and modification details you provide.

• Before work begins: If you have not yet uploaded your stock read file and no tuning work has started, you may cancel your order for a full refund. Contact us before uploading to request a cancellation.
• After your first tune revision is delivered: Once JR Jones Racing has delivered your first tune revision through your private Tune Portal, the purchase is final and non-refundable. This applies regardless of whether you have downloaded, flashed, or used the file.
• Why: Your first revision is a real, individually-built product of our labor, specific to the information you provided. Revisions — not refunds — are how we resolve issues with a tune. Additional revisions are included with every tune purchase specifically so any drivability concern can be corrected without needing a refund.
• Exceptions: Refunds or exceptions to this policy may be granted solely at the discretion of JR Jones Racing ownership, on a case-by-case basis. Requesting an exception does not guarantee one will be granted.

Not eligible for a refund or exception, under any circumstance, including:

• Dissatisfaction with vehicle performance caused by undisclosed modifications, inaccurate build information, or incomplete information provided at the time of order
• Mechanical issues, pre-existing vehicle conditions, or hardware failures unrelated to the calibration itself
• Errors in flashing, reading, or installing the file
• Change of mind after a tune has been delivered
• Failure to request revisions or communicate an issue before disputing the charge

Downloadable Pre-Written Tune Files (Instant Download)

Pre-written reference tune files are delivered instantly and are not personalized, not supported by revisions, and not eligible for return or refund once the download link has been issued — this applies whether or not the file has actually been downloaded, opened, or used. If a pre-written file does not fit your build, you may upgrade to a custom remote tune and the amount paid is credited toward that service.

Physical Parts & Cam Swap Kits

Physical parts purchased through the cam-swap kit builder or bundle builder may be returned within 14 days of delivery if unused, uninstalled, and in original packaging. Buyer is responsible for return shipping unless the part arrived defective or incorrect. Special-order or platform-specific cut/modified parts are final sale.

Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

Filing a chargeback or payment dispute for a tune that has been delivered as described in this policy — rather than contacting us directly — is a violation of these terms. JR Jones Racing maintains records of every order, including timestamps for file uploads, portal communication, tune delivery, and revision history, and will submit this evidence to the card issuer or payment processor to contest any dispute we believe is not made in good faith. Customers found to have filed fraudulent or bad-faith chargebacks may be refused future service.
