You need supported HP Tuners hardware and software, the required vehicle licensing, and a clean original read from the vehicle. The exact ECU/PCM, operating system, engine, transmission, fuel system, and hardware must be verified before using any file.

Can I directly flash one of these files?

No. Read your vehicle first, open the JRJ file as the compare file in HP Tuners VCM Editor, and copy only applicable changes into your own vehicle file.

Do all GM vehicles with the same engine use the same file?

No. Model year, controller, operating system, transmission, engine code, camshaft and other hardware differences all matter.

Which GM brands and engine families are covered?

Supported Chevrolet, GMC, Cadillac, Buick, Pontiac, Hummer and other GM applications include listed Gen III, Gen IV, Gen V, LS-based, EcoTec3 and LV3 combinations.

Where are the buyer confirmations?

Tuning device required: You must have an HP Tuners MPVI2, MPVI3, or MPVI4, or an EFI Live device supported for your vehicle. J.R. Jones Racing LLC does not currently support RTD or TDN devices. RTD/TDN support is planned for the future. Check device requirements. Need an interface? You can add an HP Tuners MPVI4 to your tune at the bottom of this builder if you would like to purchase one through J.R. Jones Racing LLC. Vehicle credits are sold separately.
