JRJ customer support · Logging & software setup

Let Jason set it up remotely.

Jason can connect to your tuning computer from his office, control your mouse and keyboard, and set up HP Tuners and datalogging for you—including VCM Scanner, logging channels and scanner layouts.

You approve the connection and stay at your computer while Jason handles the setup.

Start with the download

Four steps · One support session

Connect with Jason. Get set up.

Download RustDesk on your tuning laptop, share your ID privately with JRJ and approve Jason’s connection. He can then handle the software and logging setup from his office.

  1. Download the installer

Press Download for Windows 64-bit above. Your browser will save this file to your computer, usually in Downloads:

    rustdesk-1.5.0-x86_64.exe

For another operating system or processor, use the official release page or ask JRJ which download fits.

  2. Install & open RustDesk

Open the downloaded file. If RustDesk opens first, choose Install, then Accept and install. Follow the Windows installation prompts, then open RustDesk.

Keep RustDesk open on your tuning computer when you are ready for Jason to connect.

  3. Send your ID to JRJ

Find Your ID in RustDesk and send it privately to Jason through your existing Tune Portal conversation or a confirmed JRJ support conversation.

The website does not need your RustDesk password. Keep your ID and any connection code out of public posts.

  4. Let Jason connect & set up

Stay at your computer with RustDesk open. When Jason requests the arranged connection, choose Accept. He can then see your screen, control your mouse and keyboard, and set up your tuning software and logs from his office.

You can watch the setup, ask questions and disconnect when the session is finished. If RustDesk asks for a password instead, contact JRJ privately for the next step.

When we are finished

Disconnect. You are in control.

Use Disconnect in RustDesk to end the support session. Installing RustDesk also adds a background service, so closing the window alone does not stop that service.

Use this option after your support session if you want the installed RustDesk service stopped.
