TSP 220R LS1 Tune Built for Real Street Driving
The Texas Speed 220R is a proven LS1 street performance cam, but it still needs the tune handled correctly. Stock-style calibrations usually struggle with idle instability, cold start issues, incorrect airflow, poor low-speed manners, and fuel trims that do not match the new camshaft airflow demand.
- Built specifically for 1998–2002 Camaro LS1 platforms
- Designed around Texas Speed TSP 220R 220/220 camshaft setups
- Corrects idle airflow, spark, fueling, throttle response, and drivability
- Supports common bolt-ons like headers, cold air intake, exhaust, and intake manifold upgrades
- Built from your actual factory read file — not a one-size-fits-all upload
- Available for HP Tuners and EFI Live users
Performance & Build Responsibility Notice
This is not a stock tune. This is a performance calibration designed for modified vehicles running a camshaft and supporting parts.
You are responsible for making sure your build quality is up to par before flashing or running this tune. Your engine, valvetrain, fuel system, drivetrain, wiring, sensors, injectors, exhaust, and all supporting parts must be correctly installed, mechanically sound, and capable of handling increased performance.
Poor installation, worn parts, incorrect valve spring setup, wrong pushrod length, weak fuel supply, vacuum leaks, exhaust leaks, bad sensors, or unsafe mechanical condition can cause drivability issues or engine damage that no tune can fix.
J.R. Jones Automotive & Performance is not liable for engine failure, drivetrain damage, PCM/ECU damage, or any issue caused by poor build quality, improper installation, unsafe flashing practices, incorrect customer-supplied information, or misuse of this tune.
Secure Flashing Reminder
Always flash using a hard-wired USB connection. Do not flash over weak connections, unstable power, or while the vehicle battery is low.
Use a battery charger or maintainer during the write process. Do not interrupt the flash once writing has started.
Customer is responsible for having the proper tuning hardware, software, licensing, and stable equipment needed to read and flash the vehicle.
